I came to photography from graphic design, so I think about a headshot as a designed object — the crop, the colour, the space around your head, and where the image is going to live. I’ve photographed Orange County professionals since 2015, and I trained in the Peter Hurley method for the direction.

Please arrive camera-ready, with hair and makeup already done. I handle touch-ups on set. If you would like a professional artist for your session, I can connect you with one — they work independently and charge separately, currently $300. Email abousaif@icloud.com at least a week ahead so it can be arranged.

Yes, we can provide on-location headshot photography for teams. Our experienced team will travel to your location with a fully-equipped pop-up studio, allowing us to deliver the same high-quality results as you would get in a professional studio setting. However, we recommend visiting our state-of-the-art studio for individual headshot sessions, where you can enjoy the full headshot experience without distractions.

When deciding what to bring, consider the norms of your industry. Aim for a balance between classic looks and a few that feel more like you. We photograph two to three outfits in a session, so bring a handful of staples you know you look and feel great in, and we will choose together.

When selecting jewelry for a photo shoot, consider a piece that will subtly draw attention to your face and eyes, such as a delicate necklace or small earrings. Choose pieces with a simple design that won’t overpower your look but will add a touch of personal style. If you have a special piece with sentimental value, you can consider incorporating it into your look. However, taking a few shots without jewelry is a good idea to let your natural beauty shine through.

Contactless payment via debit or credit card is available. Please be prepared to purchase your selected images during the session. If you need a receipt for your expenses, we will provide it digitally after the session.

Your session fee is $300. Images are purchased separately, a la carte, at $150 each — you buy only the ones you truly want, and you choose them right after the photography portion of your session.

Yes! You are welcome to bring a friend, spouse, or family member to your session for your comfort and moral support. For those under 18 years of age, a parent or guardian is required to attend the photo shoot.
