How a headshot session works

Book right here
Choose your session and a time on this page and pay the session fee to hold your date. Firms and teams can start with a free 20-minute call.

Plan your outfits
Bring two to three outfits in solid colors that fit well. If you’d like, we talk beforehand about wardrobe and where the images will be used.

I direct every frame
Posture, chin, hands, expression. You see the images on screen as we go.

Choose before you leave
We pick your favorites together. Each one gets a round of retouching and arrives within 7 business days.

Headshots for your whole team
Team headshots with the same light and backdrop for everyone.
I bring the studio to your office and photograph everyone with the same light and background, so your team page looks like one firm. It takes about 20 minutes per person, and each person chooses their image during their visit.
A team day includes one retouched image for each person. Fewer than five people? Each can come to my Irvine studio instead, and new hires are matched there later.

About me
I’m Reem, your Orange County headshot photographer.
I’m a headshot, portrait and personal-branding photographer in Irvine, with more than 18 years behind the camera. Attorneys, physicians, executives and business owners across Orange County come to me for a photograph that makes them look confident, credible and approachable, without having to know how to pose.
I came to photography from graphic design, so I plan each image for where it will live: a crop that holds up in a small LinkedIn circle, a background that matches your team page, and room for a designer to set your name beside it.
It’s just me. The person you email is the person who photographs you, directs you and delivers your images.

No. That’s my job. I set the light and the angle, then coach your expression in small, specific steps (chin, shoulders, eyes) until the photograph looks like you on your best day.

Hair and makeup aren’t included — please arrive camera-ready, with hair and makeup already done. If you would like a professional artist for your session, I can connect you with one — they work independently and bill you directly. Email abousaif@icloud.com at least a week ahead so it can be arranged.

Individual Headshot: the session fee covers the session. You choose and buy your favorite images before you leave.
Portrait: three retouched images included.
Personal Branding: eight retouched images included.

My studio is in Irvine, in Orange County. You receive the address when you book.

Yes, I photograph teams on location. I travel to your office with a fully equipped pop-up studio, so the results match what you would get in the studio. For individual headshot sessions I recommend my Irvine studio, where you can have the full session without distractions.

Aim for a balance between classic looks and a few that feel more like you. I photograph two to three outfits in a session, so bring a handful of staples you know you look and feel great in, and we will choose together.

When selecting jewelry for a photo shoot, consider a piece that will subtly draw attention to your face and eyes, such as a delicate necklace or small earrings. Choose pieces with a simple design that won’t overpower your look but will add a touch of personal style. If you have a special piece with sentimental value, you can consider incorporating it into your look. However, taking a few shots without jewelry is a good idea to let your natural beauty shine through.

Contactless payment via debit or credit card is available. Please be prepared to purchase your selected images during the session. If you need a receipt for your expenses, I will send it digitally after the session.

Yes. Bring someone if it helps you relax. For those under 18 years of age, a parent or guardian is required to attend the photo shoot.
